Morocco's Netizens Spend 4 Hours A Day Surfing Internet
Casablanca - Moroccan netizens spend almost four hours per day online, according to a survey on Internet use and social networks in Morocco. 
 
The netizens use laptops to get connected (78 pc), followed by mobile phones (61 pc) and desktops (44 pc), Morocco Numeric Cluster and Averty Market Research & Intelligence said in said a joint statement. 
 
They generally connect from their homes (90 pc), while 37 pc access Internet from their workplace and 29 pc from public places, the survey notes, adding that in terms of use, Internet is first used to learn (77 pc), send and receive emails (73 pc), stay in touch with relatives (69 pc) and entertainment (63 pc). In the ranking of the most popular social networks, the survey shows that Facebook remains at the top (96 pc), followed by Twitter (35 pc), while in professional networks, LinkedIn ranks first (26 pc) followed by Viadeo (17 pc).
 
The main motivation for the use of social networks is to learn (82pc), chat (66pc) and comment and interact (58pc).
