Morocco's Employment Minister holds talks with Luxembourgish peer
Rabat - Employment and social affairs Minister Abdeslam Seddiki held talks, on Tuesday in Rabat, with Luxembourgish Minister of Labour, Employment and the Social and Solidarity Economy Nicolas Schmit.

During the talks, the two officials discussed bilateral cooperation as well as the means to further promote cooperation in the field of employment between Morocco and the EU as Luxembourg will take the presidency of the EU in the second half of 2015.
The meeting falls within the framework of the Morocco-EU cooperation in preparation of the ministerial conference EU-Maghreb on employment which will be held in Luxembourg in July 2015.
Speaking to the press on this occasion, Schmit said that the means to reduce youth unemployment were at the heart of talks, stressing in this respect the need for greater exchange to promote youth employment through vocational training.
He said that solidarity economy has a strong potential in reducing unemployment which is plaguing Europe.
