Morocco condemns in strongest terms double terrorist attack against Maroua in north of Cameroon

Rabat - The Kingdom of Morocco condemned on Thursday, in the strongest terms, the double terrorist attack that targeted the city of Maroua in north of Cameroon and claimed many victims, said the foreign affairs ministry in a statement.

Extending its sincere condolences and compassion to the Cameroonian authorities and the bereaved families, Morocco expressed its solidarity with the brotherly Cameroonian people and reiterated its firm condemnation of extremism and terrorism under all its forms, said the statement.

The Kingdom of Morocco also renewed its calls on the international community to fight this plague, which has become a threat to the stability and foundations of States and societies, it added.
