Morocco celebrates Throne Day

Morocco is celebrating the thirteenth anniversary of the accession of His Majesty King Mohammed VI to the throne of his glorious ancestors.

 Since the beginning of his reign His Majesty King Mohammed VI has continued the strategic development of infrastructure and social facitilities to enhance Morocco's economic potential and improve the quality life of his people.

In 2012 some 180 billion dirhams have been invested in infrastructure development. Tangier Port Med Phase II  opened with  the Renault manufacturing plant and the TVG project. Logistical facilities,urban tramways and motorways have been launched which  will increase Morocco's competivity.

The momentum continues, building for the country's economic future, despite the global economic crisis.

The Kingdom of Morocco has maintained public sector investment and policies for growth. Bombardier  the global aircraft manufacturer has confirmed a $200 million investment in a manufacturing plant  in Casablanca.

The wise policies of His Majesty King Mohammed VI have ensured stability at a time of great turbulence so that the referendum in July 2011 approved constitutional changes and allowed the election of the government of Prime Minister Abdelaziz Benkirane.

The Moroccan monarchy has always been close to the people and their aspirations. World leaders from many countries have praised the wise leadership of  the King.

On this day of national celebration North Africa United presents its respectful good wishes for happiness and long life to His Majesty.  It also presents its sincere congratulations to His Royal Highness Crown Prince Moulay El Hassan to His Royal Highness Prince Moulay Rachid, the entire Royal Family, and the Moroccan people.
