Morocco and France sign 19 memoranda of understanding

Casablanca: After the meeting and discussion between King Mohammed VI and French President François Hollande, the two Heads of State presided over a signing ceremony of 19 bilateral agreements on different sectors.
Morocco and France sign 19 memoranda of understanding

Sectors affected by the 19 agreements between Morocco and France were as follows:

 

1 - Agreement on the financing of the FSP project to support trainers in French regional centers of business education and training, signed by Mohamed El Ouafa Minister of National Education and Laurent Fabius French Minister of Foreign Affairs.

 

2 - Joint Declaration on the Rights of Women, signed by Bassima Hakkaoui Minister of Solidarity of Women, Family and Social Development and Najat Belkacem Vallaud-French Minister of Women's Rights spokesman of the government.

 

3 - Agreement for the creation of a Euro-Mediterranean International Institute of Technology in Morocco, signed by Lahcen Daoudi Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research staff training and Geneviève Fioraso French Minister of Higher Education and research.

 

4 – Partnership and cooperation agreement in the fields of agriculture, rural development and agri-food Aziz Akhannouch initialed by the Minister of Agriculture and Marine Fisheries and Stéphane Le Foll French Minister of agriculture, food and forestry.

 

5 - Cooperation Protocol for enhancement sea productssigned by Aziz Akhannouch the Minister of Agriculture and Marine Fisheries and Frédéric Cuvillier French Minister Delegate to the Minister of Ecology and Sustainable Development Minister of agriculture, food and forestry, Stéphane Le Foll.

 

6 - Memorandum of Understanding for an amount of € 20 million relating to the continued funding of Pillar II of the Green Morocco Plan signed by the Director General of the French Development Agency, Dov Zerah, Minister of Economy and Finance Nizar Baraka, Minister of Agriculture and Marine Fisheries Aziz Akhannouch and the CEO of Credit Agricole of Morocco, Tariq Sijilmassi.

 

7 - Convention establishing the Central School of Casablanca signed by the Minister of Higher Education and Research, Geneviève Fioraso, the Minister of Economy and Finance Nizar Baraka, Minister of Industry, trade and new technologies, Abdelkader Amara and the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research staff training, Lahcen Daoudi.

 

8 - Memorandum of Understanding on the € 50 million financing program employment and skills development, adopted by the Director General of the French Development Agency, Dov Zerah, the Minister of Employment and Vocational Training, Abdelouahed Suhail and Minister of Economy and Finance Nizar Baraka.

 

9 - € 30 million loan to the National electricity and drinking water (ONEE) to finance the program of performance for the improvement of drinking water, contracted by the Director General of the French Development Agency, Dov Zerah, the Director General of ONEE, Ali Fassi Fihri and Minister of Economy and Finance Nizar Baraka.

 

10 - Memorandum of Understanding with Attijariwafa on supporting Moroccan and French businesses in their implementation strategy in Sub-Saharan Africa, signed by the Director General of the French Development Agency, Dov Zerah and CEO of Attijariwafa Bank Mohamed El Kettani.

 

11 - € 150 million loan to the development company Zenata subsidiary of the Caisse de Depot et de Gestion to finance the development of the eco-city Zenata, signed by the Director General of the French Agency development, Dov Zerah and CEO of the Caisse de Depot et de Gestion, Anas Alami Houir.

 

12 - Agreement between the National Muesums Foundation of Morocco and the Arab World Institute (IMA) to organize an exhibition of contemporary Moroccan Art at the IMA in Paris in 2014, signed by President the IMA, Jack Lang and the President of the National Foundation of Museums of Morocco, Mehdi Qotbi.

 

13 - Memorandum of Understanding between the Moroccan Financial Board and Paris Europlace concluded by the President of the Association Paris Europlace Mestrallet and the Director General of the Moroccan Financial Board, Said Ibrahimi.

 

14 - Contract for the supply of the signaling and telecommunications equipment for the High Speed ​​Line (HSL) between Tangiers and Kenitra, signature of the Vice-President of Ansaldo STS France, Gilles Pascault and the Director General of the NationalRailways Mohamed Rabia Khlie.

 

15 – Protocol for the definitive agreement for the creation of a railway Training Institute, co-authored the CEO of SNCF, Guillaume Pepy and the Director General of the National Railways Mohamed Rabia Khlie.

 

16 - Creation of a Joint Venture SNCF / ONCF for the maintenance of the high-speed line signed by the Director General of the SNCF, Guillaume Pepy and the Director General of the National Railways Mohamed Rabia Khlie.

 

17 - Contract for the supply of the lot catenary-based work LGV between Tangier and Kenitra, signed by the CEO of Colas Rail, Patrick Guénolé and the Director General of the National Railways Mohamed Rabia Khlie.

 

18 - Contract for the supply of the lot substation and power supply wire for the TGV between Tangiers and Kenitra, signature: Director of Cegelec Mobility Rail, Nicolas Heir and the Director General of the National Railways, Mohamed Rabia Khlie.

 

19 - Taza wind farm of 150 MW signature: The Executive Director of EDF Energies Nouvelles, Fabienne Bémol and the Director General of ONEE, Ali Fassi Fihri.
