'Morocco and Europe, six centuries in the eye's of the other' exhibition, a time travel to show Morocco's specificity
Lisbon - The "Morocco and Europe, six centuries in the eye's of the other" exhibition, which will open on Monday in Lisbon, will offer the opportunity to travel in time in order to better understand the Moroccan specificity in its openness on the European world, said the event's organizer Paul Dahan.

It also highlights the ties between Morocco and Europe since the 16th century and up till now. These relations were at the beginning marked by conflicts and wars and turned in time to diplomatic and commercial bonds.

For Dhan, who is also the founder of the Jewish-Moroccan Culture Center in Brussels (CCJM), the exhibition's idea is to show that ignorance may result in conflicts and troubles.

Organized under the patronage of HM King Mohammed VI and President of Portugal Antonio Cavaco Silva, this exhibition is initiated by the Moroccan embassy in Lisbon, in collaboration with the CCJM, the Council of Moroccan Community Abroad (CCME) and the North-South Center of the Council of Europe, on sidelines of the Lisbon Forum scheduled Sept.
