Morocco, a strategic ally for Spain, Spanish politician

Morocco, which is witnessing noteworthy changes at all levels, is a strategic ally for Spain given its political stability, Jiménez said at a meeting with a delegation of the socialist union of popular forces party (USFP) lead by its first secretary general Driss Lachgar.

He welcomed the climate of political stability prevailing in Morocco in an Arab region marked by mutations that have not yet produced satisfactory results, highlighting the successful integration of the Moroccan community in Navarre. During the meeting with the USFP delegation, which is visiting the four regions of Northern Spain at the invitation of the Basque Socialist Party (PSE-EE), the Spanish politician highlighted the importance of this meeting to focus on the political, economic, social and parliamentary dynamics in Morocco, adding that the meeting allowed him to learn more about the development taking place in the Kingdom. In this regard, he called for further strengthening cooperation with the USFP, through regular contacts, underlining the convergence of viewpoints between the two parties on several national and regional issues.
