Borusewicz, who received on Thursday at the senate headquarters in Warsaw a delegation of the house of advisors led by its speaker Mohamed Sheikh Biadillah, currently on a working visit to Poland, lauded efforts by Morocco which made the choice of democracy to carry out wise reforms that combine modernity and tradition.

He said that he has been closely following what is happening in Morocco, a country which has clearly opted for democracy by undertaking appropriate political reforms.

Biadillah underlined that Morocco, thanks to the political reforms implemented by HM King Mohammed VI and supported by the political class, opted for a quiet transition away from the unrest witnessed in some countries in the region.

Noting that Morocco has always, on the back of its history, overcome difficult phases, Biadillah stressed that the Kingdom's commitment to democracy is a strategic, irreversible choice.
