Morocco Wins 2020 International Futsal Tournament
Rabat - The national futsal team won, on Thursday, the International Futsal Tournament, held in Croatia, after its victory in the final against the United States (6-1).
The Atlas Lions won the title thanks to a hat-trick by Anas El Ayan, a brace from Soufiane Mesrar and a goal by Mohamed Jouad, according to a statement by the Royal Moroccan Football Federation (FRMF).
In the previous games, the national team beat Moldova (9-1), Montenegro (4-1) and Istria (11-1).
This international tournament is part of the Atlas Lions' preparations for the World Cup finals, to take place from 12 September to 4 October in Lithuania.
