Marrakech-Menara airport - Morocco and the United States are very closely collaborating in the aerospace field, said US ambassador in Rabat Dwight L. Bush on Wednesday in Marrakech.

US aerospace technologies are helping Morocco to become a regional hub in the sector for Europe and Africa, he said during the inauguration of the American stand at the fourth Marrakech Air Show 2014, which was attended by head of government Abdelilah Benkirane.
Bush recalled that several US businesses had successful joint ventures in Morocco, saying he is glad to see many American exhibitors at the event.
He added that Morocco is convinced that the sector of aeronautics is of paramount importance as part of the regional strategy for economic growth, noting that the Kingdom takes advantage of its strategic location to turn into a center of competences, sales and services in the aeronautics industry.
