Morocco, Turkey eager to reinforce cooperation on urbanism

Rabat - Moroccan Minister of Urbanism and Town Planning Mohand Laenser met, on Thursday in Rabat, with Turkish counterpart Idis Gulluce on means of strengthening bilateral cooperation in the field of urbanism.

 

This meeting was an opportunity to share the two countries' experience in the field of urbanism and town planning, Laenser told the press after the meeting.

 

The discussions also touched on ways to promote the sharing of expertise between Morocco and Turkey in this field given that the two countries are witnessing a similar growth level regarding cities and urbanism, despite the existence of unique characteristics for each country.

 

During this meeting, it was agreed to organize visits by experts from the two countries, foster joint action and facilitate the mission of Turkish businessmen in Morocco and their counterparts in Turkey, said the minister.
