Morocco, Sweden for strengthening bilateral cooperation
Rabat - Reinforcing bilateral cooperation was at the center of a meeting, Thursday in Rabat, of minister delegate for foreign affairs Mbarka Bouaida and speaker of the Swedish national Diet (parliament) Per Westerberg who is on a visit to the Kingdom.

During this meeting, Bouaida reiterated Morocco's will to further strengthen the ties of friendship and cooperation with Sweden, calling for the intensification of visits of senior officials, fostering inter-parliamentary cooperation and strengthening contacts between businessmen.
She also said, in a statement to MAP, that she discussed with the Swedish party the issue of the Moroccan Sahara, the issue of immigration and the role that the Kingdom plays in the Sahel-Saharan region. Regarding the Sahara issue, Bouaida informed the Swedish official of the latest developments of this issue, focusing on serious and credible efforts made ??by Morocco to reach a political solution within the framework of the Moroccan autonomy initiative.
