Morocco, Peru sign four cooperation agreements

Lima - Morocco and Peru signed on Monday in Lima four cooperation agreements on labor, training, information and trade.

The agreements were signed during the visit to Peru by minister of foreign affairs and cooperation, Salaheddine Mezouar, (June 22-25) to take part in the celebrations marking the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Rabat and Lima, held under patronage of HM King Mohammed VI.

The first agreement, between the two countries' labor departments, provides for establishing a framework of cooperation and technical assistance in matters of migration, labor and other associated fields.

Another agreement between the Moroccan academy of diplomatic studies and the Javier de Cuellar diplomatic academy of Peru stipulates the exchange of information related to studies, courses, seminars and other activities between the two institutions.

The Moroccan news agency (MAP) and the Peruvian company of editorial services "Editora Peru" also agreed to exchange information bulletins, archives and other documents related to their field of activity. The agreement was signed by MAP General manager Khalil Hachimi Idrissi and general manager of Editora Peru, Ronaldo Miguel Vizarraga Robles.

The Casablanca and Lima chambers of commerce also signed an agreement providing for mutual assistance to establish direct contacts and develop deepened business relations.
