Morocco-Mali economic forum: CGEM head calls for setting up bank of investment projects

Bamako - Head of the Moroccan employers' body (CGEM) Meriem Bensalah Chaqroun called, on Wednesday in Bamako, for the setting up of a Moroccan-Malian bank of investment projects to target and supervise efficiently all public and private projects to create wealth and jobs.

I recommend that our two bodies, CGEM and Malian counterpart, set up a bank of investment projects where businessmen could find opportunities to create wealth and jobs beneficial for both countries, she said at the opening ceremony of the first Morocco-Mali economic forum which ended on Thursday.

It is high time to give concrete substance to the business dynamic between the two countries, said Bensalah who was leading an important delegation of Moroccan businessmen representing 60 enterprises, adding that the Moroccan government adopted recently an agreement on non-double taxation between the two countries.
