Lemag : Morocco-focused junior longreach Oil & Gas drill a pair of onshore exploration wells in October after getting a contract with Italian firm Saipem for two wells on the Sidi Moktar Exploration Licence Area onshore Morocco.

According to the Toronto explorer, a contract has signed after a rigorous tender process with the Italian services giant for the Saipem Drillmec Mas 7000 rig to drill the first two wells on its Sidi Moktar exploration licence area and options for two more wells.
The rig is expected onsite in mid-October and the first target will be the Koba prospect believed prospective in Lower Jurassic and Triassic sandstones.
The optimist chief executive officer of Longreach Oil & Gas, Andrew Benitz said that the first well on Koba is expected in october and prospect was initially evidenced through careful reprocessing of existing data.
The company operates the Sidi Moktar license area with 50% working interest.
