Morocco, Jordan sign MoU in civil service modernization

The document, signed by Morocco's minister of public service and administration modernization, Mohamed Moubdii, and Jordan's minister of civil service development, is part of efforts to consolidate cooperation between the two Arab countries. 

The MoU provides mainly for developing civil service and easing red tape by expanding the use of modern techniques of management, promoting governance and improving relations between administration and citizens and the quality of services. 

The two countries also agreed to bring the administration closer to businesses and citizens, reduce administrative concentration and develop human resources. 

Moroccan and Jordanian experts will be exchanging visits to conduct joint research and studies geared to modernizing information systems, public policies appraisal and public life moralization.
