London - Minister of National Education, Vocational Training, Higher Education and Scientific Research, Saaid Amzazi, presented, on Monday, the various reforms of the Moroccan education system, at the World Education Forum 2020 held in the British capital.

Speaking at a plenary session on the theme: "Long-term solutions - Tackling learning poverty" before an audience of more than 1300 experts and education professionals from over 100 countries, Amzazi presented the various reforms of the education system to which Morocco is committed, from 1999 with the adoption of the national Charter of education and training, the adoption of framework Law 51.17 on the system of education, teaching, training and scientific research, and the strategic Vision 2015-2030 of the reform.

These reforms aim to establish a consensual national pact on a new school, based on equity and equal opportunities, quality for all and the promotion of the individual and society, while encouraging the employability of young Moroccan school graduates, explained the minister, who is currently visiting the United Kingdom leading a large Moroccan delegation.
