Morocco, Favorite Destination for French Retirees
Paris - Morocco is one of the favorite destinations for French retirees, French TV channel France 2 said Monday.
In a report entitled "Morocco: golden retirement", aired on its 8pm news, the channel notes that more than 60,000 French retirees have chosen to settle in recent years in the Kingdom, highlighting Morocco's different assets.
Among these assets, France 2 cites its geographical proximity to France (less than three hours of flight), security in the country, and the possibility for these retirees to easily integrate Moroccan society thanks to language.
The report cites the testimonies of some French retirees who have decided to settle permanently in Morocco and to invest particularly in the cities of Marrakech and Agadir.
