London - Morocco could support African countries in terms of acquiring technical expertise and gaining access to the European and British market, said, on Monday in London, Mamadou Maladho Diallo , social entrepreneur and president of cooperative "Partnership of young people for sustainable development", which is active in Guinea Conakry's social and solidarity-based economy.

In a statement to MAP on the sidelines of his participation in the "UK Africa Investment Summit 2020" which is held in the British capital, Diallo stressed that Morocco boasts a great expertise in technical matters and has already a large market in Europe, noting that, technically, Morocco could support African countries to improve their production, and offer them access to its large market in Europe and the United Kingdom. Guinea has about 6 million land plots ready for farming but it still faces many technical problems, said the economic operator, noting that Morocco which made a leap in terms of technical development could pass on its expertise to other African countries in this area. Morocco is also known for the development of breeding techniques and the diversity of its species, said Maladho Diallo, noting that Guinea is keen to benefit from the "Moroccan expertise" in the field and to develop a win-win partnership as most fertilizers used in Guinea come from Morocco. The two countries have already developed bilateral cooperation which brings a lot of support to Guinean operators, mainly in soil study and technical support, he concluded.
