Morocco Chairs Preparatory Meeting of AMAN 27th General Assembly
Athens - Khalil Hachimi Idrissi, Director General of Morocco's news agency (MAP) and President of Alliance of Mediterranean News Agencies (AMAN), chaired, on Thursday in Athens, the preparatory meeting for AMAN 27th general assembly, which will be held on October 2-3 in Cape Sounion, 60km South of the Greek capital.
This meeting focused on the organizational aspect of AMAN’s upcoming general assembly as well as its agenda, in addition to means to further cooperation between the news agencies that are affiliated with this Mediterranean group.
The meeting was attended by Armela Krasniki, Director General of Albanian Telegraphic Agency, Michalis Psilos, Director General of Athens News Agency ANA/MPA, and George Penintaex, Director General of Cyprus News Agency CNA. During AMAN 26th General Assembly that was held on July 5th, 2017 in Agadir, the Moroccan news agency was named AMAN Chair for 2017-2018.
