Morocco, Belgium sign several cooperation agreements

The two countries signed a Memorandum of Understanding on bilateral political consultations, a cooperation agreement to combat organized crime and terrorism, and another on social security.

Morocco and Belgium also signed the 2014 Action Plan on security police, an agreement on the triangular cooperation fund in the field of training benefiting sub-Saharan countries, a Memorandum of Understanding on gender equality, and the 2014 plan action on the same issue.

Morocco and Belgium have also agreed to further strengthen cooperation in these areas in which they are already bound by several agreements.

 

Morocco and Belgium maintain strong relations of cooperation in various fields. With a cooperation program of 80 million euros for the 2010-2013 period, Morocco is the main partner of the Belgian bilateral development cooperation after the countries of central Africa.
