Morocco: 3rd edition of the Industry Assises
The 3rd National Conference of the industry, to be held February 20 in Tangier 2013 and will be an opportunity to take a mid-term review of the National Pact for Industrial Emergence (PNEI) and to assess its achievements.

Initiated under the theme "Emergence, a momentum," this meeting will further the dynamics of the  Pact while highlighting the achievements and potential of the Moroccan industrial sector in terms of investment and exports.

This meeting, organized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and New Technologies in partnership with the General Confederation of Enterprises of Morocco (CGEM), aims to create more visibility and transparency to strengthen existing operators and attract new  ones with the goal of making Morocco a real industrial platform, recognized worldwide.

In fact, nearly 1,500 national and international guests will attend this meeting to attend national business meetings and learn about the components of Morocco's offers.

Thanks to EINP signed in 2009, Morocco has now a wide range of services, with a view to enhancing the competitiveness of national industrial enterprises.

EINP is a program contract that seals the mutual obligations of the State and the private sector for the implementation of the strategy of industrial development in Morocco.

The Pact was designed around two basic ideas. First, it was to focus on "global businesses of Morocco." That is to say, the channels for which Morocco has a competitive advantage: automotive, aerospace, electronics, food processing, textiles and leather, and offshoring.

Then it was to strengthen the whole business fabric, cutting through four major projects: the competitiveness of SMEs, improving the business climate, training and the development of "integrated industrial platforms."

Since the launch of the implementation of measures EINP a real dynamic is installed through the achievements recorded by the unwavering commitment of stakeholders should be maintained in a sustainable manner to build the Moroccan industry tomorrow.

The objective is to maintain a strong mobilization sites of the Covenant and a strong commitment of all stakeholders to achieve the strategic choices and the challenges Moroccan industry must and will face.

The land remains the major problem that hinders and negatively impacts the development of industry in Morocco. This problem was in fact pointed out by the Minister of Industry, Trade and New Technologies, Abdelkader Amara, at the meeting of the steering committee EINP held under the chairmanship of the Head of Government.

"The will is not always enough to overcome the difficulties, which one is more recurring land," he said.

"In cÂœur financial speculation, blockages administrative or social conflict, the industrial land hinders investment, pushing foreign groups who are struggling to find suitable land at reasonable prices, to abandon their projects in Morocco," said Mr Amara, who stressed the urgent need to "unite the efforts of all parties concerned, including the Ministry of Interior to lift the embargo + land + on the economic development of our country."

It is committed in this context biento t open the site of industrial land in order to make an inventory and build the foundation for good governance.
