Moroccan official strongly condemns anti-Moroccan remarks of Dutch politician

I strongly condemn the Dutch representative's remarks targeting Moroccan nationals living in the Netherlands, Birou told MAP saying he is shocked by these remarks that affect not only Moroccans but other foreign communities, as well.

 

Dutch far-right politician Geert Wilders faced an unprecedented storm of protest on Thursday after he told supporters he would ensure there were "fewer Moroccans" in the country.

 

These remarks are extremely dangerous for the Dutch society and for its cohesion, said the Moroccan official who also commended the positive attitude of the Dutch foreign minister.
