Bin Sedrine, who is leading a Tunisian delegation of human rights activists on a visit to Morocco until Sept. 5, told MAP that the delegation seeks to get inspired by the Moroccan experience and benefit from its positive and successful aspects.

She added that this is the body's first visit to the Kingdom as "we believe that Morocco is the first in the Arab World to be leading an experience in the field of transitional justice". She also noted that the delegation's scheduled meetings in Morocco will be an occasion to have a clear idea about this experience and the implementation of the equity and reconciliation committee's recommendations.

The Truth and Dignity Committee was set up last June in Tunisia to see to it that human rights and speech freedom are respected.
