Abidjan - The NGO "Moroccan Organization to support the autonomy of the Moroccan Sahara" has opened a representation in the Ivorian economic capital, Abidjan.

According to its statute, the Moroccan Organization to support the autonomy of the Sahara aims to defend national causes at the national, regional and international levels and to work for the taking of legal measures nationally and internationally in order to condemn and counteract human rights violations committed by the ghostly "sadr".

It is also active, through awareness-raising and information campaigns, with other Moroccan and foreign organizations, to highlight the rightness and legitimacy of the national cause.

In addition, the Moroccan NGO publishes detailed annual reports on the systematic human rights violations perpetrated by the polisario against the Sahrawis held against their will in the Tindouf camps.

The Abidjan Office of the Moroccan Organization to support the autonomy of the Sahara is composed of a president (Yassine Belbaraka), a first vice-president (Marouane Benali), a secretary general and 4 advisors.
