"Today, while we are talking about food security and the decrease of production in this sector, this agreement came to support improvement in the productivity of African countries," he said in a statement to the press at the end of the signing ceremony of the Memorandum of Understanding related to this strategic partnership, chaired by HM King Mohammed VI and President of Gabon, Ali Bongo Ondimba.

This agreement will develop a processing industry that will support agricultural activity in the two countries, but also in several African countries, he said, noting that this is an opportunity of an south-south win-win agreement that can benefit all Africa.
