It is advantageous for us to develop our partnership to anticipate what will happen and to be present, in the economic and agricultural terms in particular, in large countries that are developing in North, Sub-Saharan and West Africa, said Le Foll who was speaking alongside the Minister of Agriculture and Sea Fisheries Aziz Akhannouch during the first French-Moroccan agricultural joint committee.

There are potentials in terms of production and opportunities but there is also a food challenge that should be addressed in Africa, he stressed, noting that "we will be stronger with Morocco which has already a very important presence in this continent.

" Referring to the first French-Moroccan agricultural joint committee, the French Minister emphasized the importance of dialogue between agricultural professionals and actors from both countries, especially in relation with the sectors of cereals, beef, fruits and vegetables that are represented at this meeting.
