More than three hundred arrests in Algiers

Algerian riot forces arrested more than three hundred people,on Tuesday in Algiers, the Union of sources of personal government said.

The arrests took place during a sit-in observed today by the Autonomous Trade Unions at the headquarters of the Ministry of Labour. "An arsenal of plainclothes and uniformed from all over Algiers formd at  the entrance to the Ministry of Labour, cafeterias, bus shelters and to prevent the holding of the sit-in under the framework of Autonomous Trade Unions, "said a member of the  independent National public Administration (SNAPAP) the
Moroccan  site menara.ma reported .

A large proportion of people crammed by the police into Bab Wadi Hoube and those arrested belong to different formations of unions and associations, including SESS, SNAPAP SNATNA, SNAT Autonomous Union of SONELGAZ and Snap, Campasand the Algerian League for the Defence of Human rights (LADDH), were released in the afternoon.

On 22 February  riot forces  used tear gas and rubber bullets to disperse gatherings of young people from  Kasr El Kasr El Ferroudj Bazaïm and, in the wilaya of Laghouat (LADDH).
