Mohammed VI Museum for Modern, Temporary Arts Attract 160 K Visitors in One Year
Rabat - The Mohammed VI Museum for Modern and Contemporary Art (MMVI) has attracted, since its opening on Oct. 7, 2014, 163,188 visitors, Mehdi Qotbi, president of the National Foundation of Museums, said Tuesday.

"In such a short time, it has become very popular to the Moroccan public, schoolchildren and foreigners," Qotbi told MAP, on the occasion of the 2nd anniversary of MMVI, adding that the museum plays a major role in Rabat's strategy to get the title of the city of lights and the capital of culture.

The Museum is a space of exchange and promotion of great talents, where people get familiarized with the creation of modern and temporary arts and explore their history, the same source added.
