Meknes: 6 dead, 10 injured in 2 road accidents
Meknes - Six people have died and ten others were injured, two seriously, in two road accidents Sunday in Meknes, local authorities said.
The first accident took place at around 5:30 p.m. at the commune of Ain Karma near Meknes after a truck, transporting horses and several people, overturned killing four of them and wounding ten others, including two seriously.
A 30-year old woman and her 18-month baby were killed in another accident which occurred at about 8:30 p.m. on the national road N 6 in the commune of Lamhaya (15 km off Meknes), when a car hit the woman and her baby as they were crossing the road, according to the same sources.
