London:remembered in her book 'The Downing Street Years', the former British Prime Minister who died yesterday, on Monday, 8 April recalled her striking encounters with King Hassan II.

The Iron Lady UK, Margaret Thatcher, wrote in her book of  memoirs 'The Doxning Street Years', of her high opinion of the late King Hassan II of Morocco, she said he was  "admirably cultivated and capable of discourse and could talk in  in 6 languages."

"I had the greatest respect for the King Hassan II of Morocco," said Thatcher, lamenting that in  the international arena, we had heard little about the political issues of the Middle East.

"I met him in London two years ago he came at the invitation of Queen for a state visit to Britain, our talks focused primarily on the Arab-Israeli conflict, and there was also talk  of  military cooperation between Britain and Morocco "recounted the English premier.

Thatcher added that "in addition to being highly cultivated, King spoke half a dozen languages ​​and he could make impromptu speeches."

"I noticed how his nerves were frozen, cold-blooded, the monarch spoke of the measures it had taken to guard against assassination attempts which he was victim, I understood what it meant to live as a target for terrorists, "recounted Margaret Thatcher.
