Mali: Ansar Dine destroy more mausoleums in Timbuktu
Ansar Dine have destroyed more mausoleums in Timbuktu , promising to annihilate all of them.Further amputations were earlier carried out in Gao reported Jeune Afrique and these incidents come after Ansar Dine made peace overtures In Ougadougou and promised to cease hostilities .The UN has sanctioned armed intervention in Mali.

Abu Dardar an Ansar Dine leader told AFP that ancient mausoleums shrines were against islam and would be destroyed.The destruction is seen as a reaction to the UN resolution backing armed intervention in the North of Mali.
