Laenser receives Bahraini state minister for interior affairs

During the meeting, attended by minister delegate to the interior minister Charki Draiss, the two parties highlighted the ties of brotherhood and the solid relations uniting the two sister nations under the leadership of HM King Mohammed VI and HM Sheikh Hamad Benaissa Al Khalifa, sovereign of Bahrain, the source said.

Both parties noted on this occasion that they share the same viewpoints on various regional and international issues and discussed the political and democratic developments taking place in both Kingdoms.

Regarding fields related to the Ministries of Interior in both countries, the two officials examined ways to promote bilateral cooperation, stressing the need to further it through the signing of an agreement on security between the two governments, the statement added.
