King Mohammed VI Launches Ramadan’s FoodStuffs Distribution Operation in Rabat

Rabat – King Mohammed VI launched Ramadan’s 20th nationwide foodstuffs distribution operation on Wednesday, May 8 in Rabat.

The operation is a campaign initiated by the Mohammed V Foundation for Solidarity every year during the holy month of Ramadan.

The operation was launched in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior to provide assistance to underprivileged social segments, especially widows, the elderly and the disabled.

The campaign, which will cost MAD 70.24 million, will benefit 2.5 million people in 500,300 households, including 402,238 in rural areas, according to Maghreb Arab Press (MAP).

The foundation mobilized thousands of people, including social workers and volunteers to carry out the operation, in addition to two committees, which are in charge of supervising the supply of distribution centers.
