Interior Minister meets with Chairman of French-Moroccan friendship group at French Senate
Rabat - Interior Minister Mohand Laenser held talks, Monday in Rabat, with Chairman of the French-Moroccan friendship group at the French Senate, Christian Cambon on issues related to security and other common interest issues.

"We talked about the changes that have taken place in the region in light of the Arab Spring, particularly in Egypt and Tunisia,"Cambon told MAP at the end of this meeting, noting that they also discussed "all the problems related to security in the Mediterranean."
"We have also addressed the situation in Mali and the French operations in this country," he noted, adding that "Morocco, as an exemplary partner, supported France during these operations."
The French official noted the excellent relations between Morocco and France.
This visit comes within the framework of the preparation of a report on the countries of the southern Mediterranean and more specifically the Maghreb, he said.
Cambon also met with Speaker of the House of Representatives, Karim Ghellab.
