Interfaith dialogue at center of Abbadi talks in Washington

In this context, Abbadi met at the headquarters of the State Department with the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Near Eastern Affairs, Richard Schmierer, and officials in charge of the sectors of education, interfaith dialogue and youth. The Secretary-General of the Rabita Mohammadia of Ulema also met with the special envoy of President Barack Obama to the Organization of the Islamic Conference (OIC) Rashad Hussain, as well as several congressmen.

In a statement to MAP, Abbadi said that this series of meetings is part of preparations for the next session of the strategic dialogue between Morocco and the United States.
