Implementation Rate of Projects under 'Al Hoceima, Manarat Al Moutawassit' Program is around 95% (Official)
Al Hoceima - The implementation rate of projects conducted under the development program "Al Hoceima, Manarat Al Moutawassit", which are progressing within the agreed deadline, reached 94.97 percent of the financial commitments set before December 31 2018, said governor of the Al Hoceima province, Farid Chourak, on Wednesday.
Speaking at the meeting of the follow-up committee of the “Al Hoceima, Manarat Al Moutawasit” territorial development program, Chourak said that the various stakeholders involved in this royal large-scale project, have committed to make financial contributions of 5.549 billion dirhams before the end of December 2018, noting that the cost of achieved projects and those under way amounts to 5.257 billion dirhams, i.e. 80.7 percent of the overall financial budget of the program (6.515 billion dirhams).
The governor, who noted that the progress of the ongoing construction works reached an “honorable level”, called on the different sectors concerned to ensure that their commitments were met on time and according to the required criteria.
He underlined that this project aims to "democratize social and local services, while ensuring the distribution of projects between the various rural and urban areas, so as to reduce inequalities in the province".
Chourak added that the number of projects under the program "Al Hoceima, Manarat Al Moutawassit" (2015-2019) amounts to 804 projects in various sectors, including 300 completed projects and 504 projects in progress, the majority of which exceed 50%.
