Health reform: Rabat and Mexico agree on global cooperation program
The partnership's bilateral framework was set at a meeting of health minister Houssaine El Ouardi with Mexican peer Mercedes Juan Lopez on the sidelines of the 67th World Health Assembly (May 19-24) in Geneva.

The meeting follows the visit by a delegation from the health ministry last March to Mexico, during which the two parties identified top priority cooperation fields.

Human resources training, basic medical coverage as the RAMED regime, and the medicine policy are all fields agreed upon for reform.

The two parties mulled signing a memorandum of bilateral cooperation on health to formalize their partnership's operational modalities. They also decided to hold an international meeting on funding health care for the underprivileged on the occasion of RAMED third anniversary.
