HM the King Sends Condolence Message to Family of Late Ibrahim Aboubakr Harakat

Rabat - HM King Mohammed VI sent a message of condolence and compassion to the family of the late professor Ibrahim Aboubakr Harakat.

In this message, HM the King says that he learned with great sorrow the news of the death of professor, researcher and historian Ibrahim Aboubakr Harakat.

On this sad occasion, the Sovereign expresses to the members of the family of the deceased and to all his relatives and friends, as well as to his great cultural and intellectual family, His deepest condolences and His sincere compassion, imploring God to grant them patience and comfort.

HM the King says he shares the family's feelings following the loss of one of the pillars of the Moroccan school of history, recalling his competence and pioneering diligence in teaching, research and writing.

His Majesty stresses that the deceased left, throughout his creative academic career, a considerable knowledge base and a scientific legacy that enriched the library of the historical field in Morocco, from which generations of students and researchers have drawn, and which earned him the recognition of a range of national and international scientific and intellectual institutions.

The Sovereign also implores the Almighty to pay the deceased amply for the services he rendered to his country, to surround him with His holy mercy and to welcome him into His vast paradise.
