HM the King Extends Condolences To Sheikh Mouhamadou Mahi Niass Over Death of Sheikh Ahmed Tidiane Ibrahima Niass, Caliph General of Tidjane Niass Family in Kaolack

HM King Mohammed VI, Commander of the Faithful, sent a message of condolences and compassion to Sheikh Mouhamadou Mahi Niass following the death of Sheikh Ahmed Tidiane Ibrahima Niass, Caliph General of the Tidjane Niass family in Kaolack. In this message, HM the King expressed in this "ordeal, which is part of the unstoppable destiny of God", to Sheikh Mouhamadou Mahi Niass and through him to all of his family and relatives as well as to all the followers of the Tidjane brotherhood in Senegal, brotherly country, His heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of compassion following the death of "this eminent Sufi figure who devoted his life to the service of Islam and to spreading its noble teachings, not only in his country, but also in West Africa". "We share your feelings following this cruel loss, Praying the Almighty to give you patience and comfort", underlined HM the King, recalling the feelings of esteem, love and loyalty that the deceased had for the Sovereign and the strong spiritual and mystical ties that the late had with his second country, Morocco, as well as his great determination to contribute to the strengthening of the distinguished fraternal and religious ties that unite the Moroccan and Senegalese peoples. HM the King also Prayed God to preserve Sheikh Mouhamadou Mahi Niass and grant him health, well-being and long life, as well as success in continuing to spread the spiritual message of the Tijan brotherhood, based on the Sunnah of the Prophet, following in the footsteps of his predecessors.
