General Bouchaib Arroub receives Commander of US AFRICOM

Upon the instructions of HM King Mohammed VI, Supreme Commander and Chief of General Staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), General de Corps d'Armée Bouchaib Arroub, inspector general of the FAR and commander of the southern zone, received, on Monday at the headquarters of the FAR General Staff in Rabat, General David M. Rodriguez Commander of the United States Africa Command (US AFRICOM), on visit to the Kingdom along with a high-ranking delegation of AFRICOM. 

 

Talks touched on various aspects of bilateral military cooperation and prospects for its development, the FAR General Staff said in a statement. 

 

The meeting was notably attended by the US ambassador and the US defense attaché in Rabat, the same source added.
