Gabon sets up committee to follow up agreements with Morocco

Libreville - Gabon decided to set up a committee to follow up implementation of the agreements signed with Morocco during the two countries' economic forum held on the sidelines of the work and friendship visit paid last week by HM King Mohammed VI to this African country.

The committee, set up pursuant to instructions of the Gabonese president Ali Bongo Ondimba, will be supervised by the head of government, said a release of the Ministers' council which was chaired by the Gabonese head of state.

"The Morocco-Gabon economic forum, during which were signed 24 cooperation agreements, dealing with priority sectors of training and industrial and economic development was the highlight of the visit", said the ministers' council's release."The visit did not only help deepen longstanding brotherhood ties existing between Morocco and Gabon but also and foremost gave momentum to bilateral cooperation", the source added.
