Gabon seeks to learn from Moroccan experience in management of expats' affairs, Gabonese Minister

Rabat - Gabon's Minister of Human Rights, Equal Opportunities and the Gabonese Expatriate Community, Alexander Désiré Tapoyo, expressed Monday in Rabat, the willingness of his country to cooperate with Morocco and his wish to learn from the experience of the Kingdom in the management of expats' affairs.

The Gabonese official expressed such will during his talks with Minister in charge of the Moroccan expatriate community, Anis Birrou, as part of his working visit to the Kingdom.

In a statement to MAP, the Gabonese Minister stressed the uniqueness of the Moroccan experience in the management of expatriates' affairs, given the significant contribution of the Moroccan expat community to the country's development.

For his part, the Moroccan Minister discussed with his Gabonese counterpart the concerns of the Moroccan community in Gabon before reassuring the Gabonese Minister of the efforts of the Moroccan government in this field, and the determination of the Kingdom to further strengthen cooperation with this country.
