French-Moroccan ties: 2014 got off to most auspicious start, SG of French foreign affairs ministry

Rabat - The year 2014 got off to a most auspicious start for the French-Moroccan ties, said secretary general of the French foreign affairs ministry Pierre Selall, noting that high-level bilateral commitments will mark this year and will likely preserve the exceptional aspect of the relation between the countries.

If the year 2013 was indeed a great year for the French-Moroccan relations, 2014 already got off to a most auspicious start. The coming months will be marked by numerous bilateral high-level commitments, he told on Wednesday newspaper "Le Matin du Sahara and the Maghreb".

The French official discussed in particular the forthcoming high-level meeting between the two Governments, slated in France at the end of the year, the organization of major exhibitions on Morocco in several French museums in the fall of 2014 and the scheduled participation of Morocco in the ceremonies on July 14 as well as the commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the liberation of France. Sellal stressed that many projects will come to support these visits so that the French-Moroccan partnership keeps its richness and density.
