French MP highlights Morocco's role in operation in Mali

Paris - Chairman of the French-Moroccan friendship group at the French Senate, Christian Cambon highlighted, Thursday in Paris, Morocco's contribution to the securing operation in Mali. "Morocco has provided support to France in the operation in Mali," said the French Senator on the occasion of a meeting of members of the friendship group with Interior Minister, Mohamed Hassad.

He also noted that Morocco and France "agree on the need to secure the Mediterranean basin," praising the excellent relations between the two countries. Cambon also stressed the role of the parliaments of the two countries and parliamentary diplomacy in promoting these relations, stressing the importance of regular meetings among government departments and parliamentary commissions.
