Foreign exchange reserves of Bank Al-Maghrib virtually unchanged to 5 April
Rabat: Net international reserves of Bank Al-Maghrib were maintained almost stable at 143.3 billion dirhams (dirhams) to 5 April, down 0.1% compared to the beginning of the month, bringing their rate of progress -1 pc since the beginning of the year, according to Bank Al Maghrib.
These reserves accounted for 4 months and 3 days of imports of goods and services at the end of February 2013, said the Central Bank , published on its website weekly electronic indicators.
Moreover, the currency market, the Bank Al-Maghrib recorded at the end of the week from April 4 to 10, an appreciation of 1.4 pc of the dirham against the U.S. dollar and depreciated by 0.31 pc against the euro.
