Forbes: Chaabi is no longer the richest man in Morocco

According to its latest ranking of the richest men of the planet, Forbes magazine has the Mexican billionaire of Lebanese origin Carlos Slim as the richest man for the fourth consecutive time. In Morocco, the trio is always the same, but with a change of ranking.

With $ 73 billion, the billionaire Mexican Carlos Slim is still the richest man in the world, followed always by the Microsoft boss, Bill Gates, and a new entry to the podium, Amancio Ortega, founder of the ready-to-wear  chain Zara.

In Morocco, the podium is still occupied by three billionaires: Miloud Chaabi, Othman Benjelloun and Anas Sefrioui. However, Chaabi is no longer the richest man in Morocco, he loses a billion of his fortune, according to Forbes, and cedes first place in favor of Othman Benjelloun, the boss of BMCE.

Benjelloun's fortune is estimated by Forbes at $ 3.1 billion, that of Miloud Chaabi 2.1 billion, while Anas Sefrioui, boss Addoha, still occupies the third place with an estimated fortune to $ 1.3 billion.
