Five dead, two injured in road accident near Settat

Settat - Five people were killed and two others injured, including one seriously, in a road accident which occured Monday in the town of Khemissat Chaouia near Settat (160 km south of Rabat) local authorities said.

The victims, all from the same family, were killed when their car crashed in a head-on collision with a coach on the national road N9 linking Settat to Benguerir, the same source added.

A faulty overtaking was reportedly behind this tragedy, according to local authorities.
