Filmmaker of "Nabat" dedicates his movie to women all over the world
Marrakech - The filmmaker of "Nabat" on the suffering of women of Azerbaijan in wartime, which was screened Sunday as part of the official competition of the Marrakech International Film Festival, told MAP that he dedicates his film to women around the world to pay tribute to their fighting spirit and courage.

Nabat relates the story of a courageous old lady who was left alone in her village after it was evacuated due to bombardments. The movie shows the pain suffered in silence by all mothers who were affected by the loss of their children and their loved ones, Elchin Musaoglu said in a statement to MAP at the end of this screening, in the presence of the film crew, including the famous Iranian actress Fatemeh Motamed Arya who played the role of Nabat.
The emotions she was able to develop throughout the movie, mixing affection, tenderness, sadness, courage and dignity, are common to all women of the world regardless of their religion and belief," said the Muslim filmmaker who believes that "paradise is under the feet of mothers, as states the Muslim religion."
By presenting his film at the Marrakech Film Festival, the film director seeks not only to win the much-coveted "Gold Star", but especially to take advantage of the fame of this great film event which is described as a high-level festival, he said, praising the attending audience who watched the movie until the end.
For her part, the film's star Fatemeh Motamed Arya highlighted the importance of this festival, one of the most important fests in the world given the level of the organization which carefully chooses the film selection.
"I am very happy to be in Morocco to participate in this wonderful festival," said the movie star who was particularly moved by the audience who positively received her role in "Nabat".
The film tells the story of a courageous woman "Nabat" who lives with her husband Iskender, a former ranger who is old and ill, in a small detached house away from the nearest village.
