Fathallah Arsalane: 'Our Anti monarchism is a constitutional right’
Recently named number two of the Islamist opposition, Al Adl wa Al Ihsan Fathallah Arsalan explained the positions of his mobility, he said the same, after the death of its founding father, Sheikh Abdessalam Yassine.

In the East London daily Al Quds Al Arabi, he reiterated his movement's founding principles namely: peaceful dissent, refusal of violence and non-connection with foreign forces.

Asked about the position of Al Adl Wa Al Ihsan, vis-à-vis the Moroccan monarchy, Arsalan said that his movement and his followers refuse to recognize the legitimacy " The movement practices its non-recognition of the monarchy, peacefully, it is an opinion that we feed without violence and with respect ... the State must comply with its constitution and guarantee our freedom of conscience,  for what it is "Arsalan argues.

For him the state practice of discrimination against his movement: "There are indeed left-wing parties who also do not recognize the monarchy or the commander of the believers, and yet the state allows them to form political parties and to activate at will, why are only we excluded because of our right to difference "he exclaimed.

He added that Justice and Charity has nothing against the creation of a political party, but "this is the true state and governments who  prohibit it" accuses Arsalan.

The Islamist spokesman denied the opportunity for dissent within Adl Wa Al Ihsan, indicating that the information related to disputes and conflicts of influences between him and the daughter of the late Sheikh, Nadia Yassine, are  "fabrications."

Abdelilah Benkirane of the Islamist PJD took power and became head of government, Arsalan, insinuates that it holds prerogatives when he spoke of "real rulers", he said their relationship with the PJD was personal only.

He concluded his remarks by saying he regretted that the 20 February movement that led street demonstrations since 2011, has merely asked for a the 'constitutional monarchy'.
